We call for the first edition of the ‘Together for the Climate’ Awards

Lateuaterra.com, the first crowdfunding platform dedicated to projects that care for, protect and improve our immediate environment, has today opened the national call for the ‘Together for the Climate’ Awards, aimed at all those women who have an environmental, ecological and sustainable initiative and want to carry it out through a crowdfunding campaign. Any entrepreneur can participate in the call, which will remain open until March 1, by registering on the platform and presenting her idea. From the perspective of Belén Vázquez, founder of lateuaterra.com, the objective of this first edition is twofold: “The awards aim to support and encourage the entrepreneurial spirit of women who want to launch environmental projects that propose sustainable solutions and, on the other hand, by giving visibility and notoriety to this type of initiative, to mobilize and raise awareness in the fight against climate change,” she said.

In this edition of the ‘Together for the Climate’ Awards, all women, both individually and in groups, who are of legal age and want to develop an eco-project, can apply. The jury, formed by the platform’s Technical Committee and contest collaborators, will evaluate the viability of the initiative, its sustainability, its positive impact on the environment, the support and previous experience available, the community that would benefit and its creativity. By theme, projects oriented to environmental education, conservation of the fauna and flora of the immediate environment, recycling and waste management, circular economy, sustainable and respectful with the planet and technological innovation in the environment will be especially valued.

How to enter the ‘Together for Climate’ Awards

To enter the awards, any participant must register their environmental initiative by completing the following form: https://www.lateuaterra.com/comienza-un-proyecto . In the registration of the idea, in the section “Choose a title for your project”, ‘Together for Climate’ must be included next to the title. The deadline to apply for the call for proposals is March 1.

On the occasion of March 8, International Women’s Day, the winning projects will be announced. Lateuaterra.com will reward the entrepreneur who has presented the best project with a theoretical and practical course on environmental crowdfunding, advice and communication management of the project during the crowdfunding campaign and a bonus of 5% of the money raised in the campaign once it has ended. The prizes will also include two runners-up prizes that will include a theoretical-practical course on environmental microfinance and advice on communication during the development of the crowdfunding campaign.
